⇒ It seems that S + V と S seem(s) to V - その1
It seems that) S + V
現在完了形 = have[has] Vpp → 過去完了形 = had Vpp
1. a. It seems (that) Ken is very smart.
1. a. → It seemed (that) Ken was very smart.
It seemed (that) Ken had been very smasrt. です。
4. a. It seems (that) Ken likes Junko.
4. a. → It seemed (that) Ken liked Junko.
It seemed (that) Ken had liked Junko.
2. a. It seems (that) Ken has been interested in music since he was young.
2. a. → It seemed (that) Ken had been interested in music since he was young.
5. b. It seems (that) Ken has met Junko before.
5. b. → It seemed (that) Ken had met Junko before.
3. a. It seems (that) Ken was interested in music when he was young.
3. a. → It seemed (that) Ken had been interested in music when he was young.
6. b. It seems (that) Ken met Junko at the party.
6. b. → It seemed (that) Ken had met Junko at the party.
8. a. It seems (that) Ken can play the guitar very well.
8. a. = It seems (that) Ken is able to play the piano vwer well.
8. a.→ It seemed (that) Ken could play the guitar very well.
8. a.→ = It seemed (that) Ken was able to play the piano vera well.
8. c. It seems (that) Ken must do it.
8. c. = It seems (that) Ken has to do it.
8. c. → It seemed (that) Ken must do it.
8. c. → = It seemed (that) Ken had to do it.
もしくは、代用表現の have[has] to の過去形の had to を使います。
8. b. It seems (that) Ken could play the piano very well as a child.
8. b. = It seems (that) Ken was able to play the piano very well as a child.

8. d. It seems (that) Ken used to be a teacher.
8. d. = It seems (that) Ken was once a teacher.
8. d. → It seemed (that) Ken used to be a teacher.
8. d. = → It seemed (that) Ken had once been a teacher.
7. a. It seems (that) Ken will come to the party.
7. a. → It seemed (that) Ken would come to the party.

7. c. It seems (that) Ken is coming to the party.
7. c. → It seemed (that) Ken was coming to the party.
